Jonathan
Fraser
Lead
Actor, "The Soldier"
Jonathan
Fraser moved to Los Angeles after graduating from Indiana University
with a degree in Telecommunications and Theater. Driven by his
love for the dramatic process, he has primarily pursued a career
in acting during his tenure here. His innate ability with technical
matters and his hands approach to life has also led him to work
in a variety of jobs behind the camera.
His latest achievement is the ongoing film festival, “Short
Mondays,” which
he created with his two partners. The festival focuses on screening original
shorts from around the globe and happens the first Monday of every month. “I
created it as a place for young and upcoming filmmakers to meet one another,
share their experiences, and have a forum to exhibit their work”. Having
written, produced and acted in over a dozen short films, he is well aware of
the needs of this unique brand of filmmaker. Recently, he directed his first
short film, “Closure”, which will be screened at “Short
Mondays” in
the near future.
His
most recent films include: “Diamond’s and Guns,” “Zero
Option,” and "Duel." His latest television credits include: “The
Young & The Restless,” “Monster House,” “Las Vegas,” and “Crossing
Jordan”. He was last seen on stage at The Coronet Theater in Theater
CRAM 2004.
"
Duel" is by far the most fun I’ve had as an actor. Rehearsing
with great friends, training with professionals and working on physically and
emotionally demanding material… it simply doesn’t get any better.
Dominic and Gordon put together a fantastic group of talented people from top
to bottom. Dominic pulled the very best out of each and everyone of us. The proof
is in the pudding! My hat is off to everyone involved.
