Jones
Original
Soundtrack Composer
A native of
Arizona, Tim Jones is an innovative and eclectic composer who has scored
feature films, award winning documentaries, and episodic television,
He has established himself as an exciting new voice in film music.
Jones studied at the prestigious Berklee College Of Music in Boston, MA. In 1994,
he graduated Magna Cum Laude at the top of his class and received his B.A. degree.
His dreams of composing music for feature films brought him to Los Angeles where
he has worked with some of the biggest names in film music today.
His first studio picture, “The Forsaken”, allowed him to explore
a fusion of world and contemporary sounds. On the other end of the spectrum, “alien
Hunter”, required a large orchestral score. While being widely versatile,
Jones has honed a unique and identifiable style.
Tim has just completed work on the three-part mini series “Mobscene”,
for the Discovery Channel. His music can also be heard on the currently airing
series “Growing Up Wild”. Recently, he scored the film, “Another
Way of Seeing Things”, which won first prize at the 2004 Tiburon Film Festival
in the Documentary short category. |
